For those of you that know me, you will know that I’m on the go a lot of the time and travel around Scotland a lot! When the weather is nice, this is a lot of fun but as it starts to get colder – not as enjoyable! Looking on the bright side of things, this gives me a chance to shop for scarves! (another one of my loves, coming a close second to tea!). I was so excited when Powder game me the chance to select one of their scarves to review on my blog. As you all know, I love supporting local Scottish companies and Powder are from one of my favourite places – South Queensferry! (a gorgeous little town to the west of Edinburgh)
It took me a long time to choose which scarf to get because they are all so pretty! I want them all! As well as this, I was distracted by the range of hats, gloves, brooches and socks that Powder also offer on their website (they are all lovely!). In the end I decided to go for the ‘Darcy’ scarf in Charcoal Mix because I thought the different shades of grey (with a hint of white) would go with everything and they are colours that I love. The scarf is priced at £20.00 and it is worth noting that it also comes in Berry Mix and Damson/Mustard if you are looking for something a little bit more colourful.
I have had so many compliments since I started wearing this. Both my mum and sister want to borrow it (not happening!) which I think shows how appealing this scarf is to all ages! This is definitely ideal for a Christmas present or an extra little stocking filler. I just hope the cold weather strikes with a vengeance because I want to wear this scarf all the time! Bring on the snow and ice!
As I mentioned before, there are so many gorgeous scarves on the website suited to different seasons and styles. It is worth looking at their AW15 Collection though if you are looking for something super cosy like the scarf I chose! You can also follow Powder on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
What do you think of my scarf? Are they any from their website now on your wish list? How do you like to keep cosy during the autumn and winter months? Let me know in the comments below or you can tweet me @thingsarahloves
Powder were kind enough to send me this scarf to review. Nevertheless, all comments and opinions are my own.
