I don’t know about anywhere else, but Glasgow has been having some good weather at the moment! (don’t get too excited, by good I generally mean ‘not raining’) We have had some pretty warm days recently but in typical style, those have been weekdays and the weekends haven’t been as good. Anyway, it has really put me in the summer mood! My friend and I paid the balance of our holiday (roll on August!) and the time has come to do some Serious Summer Shopping!
I’ve bought quite a bit recently so I’m going to break the hauls down and not bombard you guys! Everything that I show I have not yet used, so there will be follow up reviews. I love reading haul posts and watching haul videos as I always find they give me inspiration; there is so much I have bought thanks to someone’s haul! Today’s post is all about nail polish and colours I think are perfect for summer – bring on lots of sunshine!
When it comes to nail polish I can never buy just one colour. Even if it is a brand or formulation that I haven’t tried before, the colours suck me in and I can never tell myself no. Why don’t I just buy one, try it and then buy the rest? I wish I knew the answer to that! I was in Boots (UK drugstore) and I spotted the Barry M Speedy Quick Dry range (£3.99 each). I have read so many positive reviews and I loved some of the colours so I bought: (from left to right in the photo)
Road Rage – a gorgeous minty green.
In A Heart Beat – pretty little pink.
Stop The Clock – light yellow! I am so excited to try this!
Full Throttle – really nice orange, I have nothing else like it in my collection.
Eat My Dust – lovely baby blue.
Oh, I also picked up one of their Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints (£3.99) in Lychee that I have wanted to try for a while. I love the shade – so simple, but looks so cute! I can’t wait to wear this!
This won’t be my last summer nail polish splurge because I know I will find others that I won’t be able to resist! Any recommendations? What have you been buying recently? Comment below or tweet me @thingsarahloves
