Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I’m really excited to be doing my first Product Empties because these are the kind of youtube videos and blog posts that I love! I’ve been collecting mine for a while (which is new for me, sure everyone thinks I’m crazy) and thought now I have a mixed little bundle, it would be a good idea to write this blog post and give my final thoughts on each of these products since I have used them all up. One is a permanent staple in my skincare routine, some I would buy again and then there’s the other one..
Soap & Glory ‘Scrub of Your Life’ (Boots, 200ml, £7.00) – I’ve used all of this up because what is not to love about Soap & Glory’s Original Pink Fragrance? It smells so nice. As a scrub, this wasn’t really for me so I used it more as a shower gel. There weren’t enough beads and it had more of a gel texture, foaming up as I used it. For sensitive skin (or those using a body scrub for the first time) I would definitely recommend this but it’s not something I would purchase again. I much prefer industrial strength style scrubs, haha!
Biotherm Aquasource Hydrating Gel – I did a full blog post on Biotherm Aquasource Hydrating Gel so I won’t go into too much detail here! If you have dry, dehydrated skin like me this is definitely worth the investment. Amazing cooling sensation and I really liked it. A bit pricey, but lasts a long time.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel (Cult Beauty, £28.00) – Ah I could not live without this product! I’m not going to go into a lot of detail (it deserves a post all of it’s own) but I love this cleansing gel. Definite staple in my skincare routine.
Garnier Mineral InvisiCool Deodorant (Sainsburys, 50ml, £1.00) – I went through a stage where I wasn’t the biggest of fan of roll on deodorants but I’m really impressed with this one (it was only £1.00 – BARGAIN!). It smells so fresh, doesn’t leave white marks and does the job! I would purchase this again but as long as a deodorant works, I’m happy!
Imperial Leather Muscle Tonic Bath Cream (Imperial Leather, 500ml, £2.00) – Whenever my personal trainer pushes me that little bit harder (leaving me in agony the next day) or I feel a bit headachey and not my usual self, I’ve been running a bath and I’ve fallen in love with this bath cream. Good amount of bubbles and I love the warming saffron and hibiscus scent (it’s a gorgeous red colour too!). This is definitely one for autumn and winter – makes me feel all cosy!
And that’s my first Product Empties post! Have you tried any of these? What products have you recently used up? Let me know in the comments below or you can tweet me @thingsarahloves – always up for chatting!
