My Favourite Tea Accessories

Okay, so not all of these are strictly ‘tea accessories’ but they are tea related and since I mostly drink tea, I thought I would put them all together under a tea themed post! I love collecting cups, saucers, mugs, coasters, tea strainers and teas themselves! It seems to never end! But these are a few pieces from my collection that I really love. Hope you like them!

I recently picked up this coaster from a really nice gift shop in Largs (little Scottish seaside resort about an hour from Glasgow). This coaster really caught my eye!  It was £3.99 which I thought was a little much for one coaster but it is so unique and really won me over to the point I couldn’t leave without it – I love music and I love tea!

I got this mug from my friend for my last birthday and to be honest, I wasn’t sure about it at first. It is glass and I’ve never owned or been drawn to a glass mug before!Yeah, it is fragile but isn’t every mug? I really like the fact I can use this to make one mug of tea instead of using a teapot. Perfect for loose leaf teas and so easy to clean! I didn’t understand the function of the lid to begin with but the strainer fits into the lid perfectly when removed – so handy! At £7.50 from Marks & Spencer, I think this mug is great value! Tea for One perfection!

Oh, Marks & Spencer currently have the Tea Diffuser Mug on sale at £6.00 so it is the ideal time to pick up one! Glass Tea Infuser Mug

I bought this Alice in Wonderland tea bag holder/spoon rest in Walt Disney World, Orlando a few years ago to add to my Disney tea collection. (I own a LOT of Disney mugs! Let me know in the comments if you would like to see a post dedicated to Disney mugs?). Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite Disney films and I just think this is so cute (shaped like a teapot too!) So much detail has gone into the decoration and it is so pretty! I don’t actually use it to hold my spoon or used tea bag (minus the photos here!) because I don’t want to ruin it. And yes, I have the matching mug too, haha!

Hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into my tea collection and look out for June’s Tea of the Month coming very soon! (Trust me, it’s one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted). Let me know in the comments below about any teas or tea accessories you are loving! Don’t forget you can tweet me @thingsarahloves – love chatting to fellow tea lovers!
