Mini Lush and Drugstore Haul!

So yesterday I met my friend Jenny in town for lunch and a little bit of shopping. By the time we had eaten lunch and had a good catch up, the shops weren’t going to be open much longer! I popped into Lush and Superdrug (drugstore here in the UK) to pick up a few little pieces.

I don’t think I can go shopping and not have Lush on my radar. I have a bowl in my bathroom that I  keep stocked with Lush bath goodness (bath bombs, bubble bars and bath melts). I only had to pick up two products as I had two Lush baths last week.

I decided to pick up an old favourite, Honey Bee Bath Bomb (£3.35). I love everything about honey and this smells amazing. My entire bathroom smells like a bee hive now! (or what I like to imagine a bee hive would smell like, haha). My skin always feels really soft after using this – it really helps my dry skin. I can’t wait to use it again!

Sticking to the theme of old Lush favourites, I popped a Pop in the Bath (£2.95) into my basket – I haven’t used one of these in years! This is such a cute Bubble Bar and I really like the floral-with-a-hit-of-citrus scent. I’m saving this for when I want a massive BUBBLE BATH!

Next it was off to Superdrug and I normally have a list of items that I want to buy but today I just wanted to see what caught my eye.  Superdrug are doing a fantastic offer just now that gets you two L’Oreal products for £12 (on selected products only, but it was on most of their range) so I couldn’t resist this

I’ve wanted to try the L’Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte foundation (£8.99) for a while now and I was in the mood to try a new foundation so the decision to buy this was pretty easy! I picked up the shade 11 Vanilla which looked like a great match for me when I tested it. I haven’t tried it yet but I will definitely report back with a review!

To take advantage of the offer, I also picked up L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss Rasputine Me 404 (£6.99) which is part of the Matte range (there are five ranges: Matte, Extreme, Neon, Cream & Dazzle). I love this colour so much and I think it will be perfect for summer. I’ve not tried it out properly yet (and I’m going to get some more) but I will report back soon with a full review! But I will tell you that this smells AMAZING! Honestly, I don’t think I have ever come across a lip product that smells this damn good. I couldn’t put my finger on what it smelled like but then it hit me: RASPBERRY RIPPLE ICE CREAM!

I own most of the colours in the Rimmel Apocalips range already but this one caught my eye as it isn’t part of my collection: shade 405 Orange-Ology (£6.49). Again, one that I think will be perfect for the coming months! I won’t go into too much detail cause I’m going to do a full review on my collection very soon!

Ah you don't have a bathtub? I have one bathroom with just a shower but thankfully the other one has a bath which I need!! I couldn't live without a bathtub!

I adore LUSH! But I must confess, I've never actually tried one of their bath bombs. Honey Bee sounds right up my street though. I might give it a go!

Nice to meet another Lush fan! Honey Bee is so so good. It is making my bathroom smell amazing just now and I'm saving it for when I have the time to have a long, relaxing bath. You should try Big Blue too, I really like it as well – reminds me of being at the beach and going in the sea!

Wow, how is the spending ban going? How long do you have left? Not sure I could do that to myself, haha. I'm going to write a review once I have used it more but the colour match is perfect for me so that's a great start!
