Food and Tea Haul!

This post is a little different but I thought I would show you some of the food and tea purchases that I have made recently. Some are new finds, some old favourites and if there are any in particular that you would like a full review on, just let me know in the comments below!

I’m going to start with teas because I love tea and even in this glorious sunshine, I enjoy a cup of tea – it is really refreshing! On a recent visit to Holland & Barrett (which is one of my favourite shops, so if you would like dedicated Holland & Barrett hauls please let me know!) and I spotted Heath & Heather’s Organic Green Tea with Coconut (20 Tea Bags, £2.49). I am pretty sure this is new and I can’t wait to try it – sounds perfect for summer! I love green tea, I love coconut (Pina Colada anyone?!) and this sounds like an interesting combination, so I am keen to give it a go. Let’s see if it makes any of my Teas of the Month!

Another tea that I picked up from good old Tesco, was the Clipper After Dinner Mints Tea (20 Tea Bags, £1.99). Although I immediately thought of an After Eight, I am pretty sure this tea was not inspired by yummy chocolate mints! I really love mint teas, so I am eager to try this double mint and fennel infusion. The box does smell amazing and weirdly, it smells like the kind of tea you would want to drink after a heavy meal (which I’m guessing is the whole point!). Again, I will report back!

Back to Holland & Barrett as I had to stock up on one of my old favourites: Meridan Smooth Almond Butter (170g, £2.99). I really should buy the insanely large tub but I know I would just keep eating it so I refrain from letting myself be tempted. I love peanut butter but I prefer almond butter and this is by far the best one I have found. I tend to have it with apple slices, dates or on top of chia seed pudding.. But yeah, I am known to just stand in the kitchen with a spoon and eat it straight from the jar! It really is that delicious!

I know they say you should never go food shopping when you are hungry but I recently learned that you should never go food shopping when you are thirsty! The weather has been so warm and disgustingly clammy that instead of buying food to prepare meals, I stocked up on sorbets and drinks! I couldn’t resist buying Tesco’s Lemon Sorbet and their Mango Sorbet (500ml, it was £2.50 each or 2 for £3.00) which are both right up my street. I will confess, I keep standing in my kitchen eating these straight from the tub! They are both delicious, really refreshing and you only need a little to feel satisfied so these should last me a long time. (hopefully the sunshine sticks around too!).Links to all the above products:
