Bargain Make up Haul!

Hey lovelies!

For today’s post, I thought I would do a little make up haul and show you some bits I recently got sent from the lovely team over at Save on Make Up. I’ve been a student (twice, two degrees) and even to this day, I still love hunting down a good bargain (who doesn’t?!)

Save on Make Up is a website that sells a range of branded skincare, fragrance, make up products and beauty bits & bobs at discounted prices. I need to be honest and say that I have never used a site like this before; it just never really crossed my mind that much before. I feel like you deserve a better explanation than that but I just love rummaging through the beauty aisles in Boots and Superdrug. Truthfully, I could never really understand how websites could offer such amazing discounts on make up and I always questioned the quality of such branded items. I am glad to say that Save on Make Up has got rid of any of my concerns I had because the products are exactly as I thought they would be!

Their website can appear to be a little daunting (because there are so many products and product categories) but is actually really easy to navigate. The headline on their website is ‘Cheap Make up & Cosmetics from Save on Makeup‘ and I think using the word cheap is really selling the products (and the site) short (really not a word I am a fan of). Yes, the products are discounted but there are some damn good finds to be found on this website and I got my hands on quite a few hidden gems which I love! Yes, for some items there is a limited colour range available but that didn’t bother me at all. I found things that I really like that I knew would suit my skin tone and I’ve not been disappointed with my selection. I think some of the items they stock might be discontinued lines or of a travel/tester/sample size, but  that is a great way to get your hands on something you might have been longing to try, or test something before you buy the larger version. They do not provide samples for free but honestly as these prices, if I really wanted to try something that I could not get my hands on a sample of, I would be more than happy to make a purchase.

Save on Make Up were kind enough to give me a £20 balance to spend on their website and I honestly can’t believe how much I managed to get!

Revlon Colourstay 24HR Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin (£9.99, Ivory) – This is quickly becoming my favourite foundation, it is AMAZING!

Maybelline Super Stay 7 Days Nail Polish (£1.49, Purple Reflects) – I love these polishes and I didn’t have this shade in my collection so I had to get this.

Revlon Colourstay Lipliner (£1.99, Pink/Rose) – Really nice shade! Little darker than I expected but it looks gorgeous on.

Maybelline Colour Whisper Lipstick (£2.99, Lust for Blush) – Next to the foundation, this is easily my second fave. I’ve been wearing it a lot as it is such a nice, neutral shade.

Clinique Chubby Stick (£3.99, Mightiest Maraschino) – I love Clinique Chubby Sticks and the colour is gorgeous.

I honestly can’t believe how much I got for £20 and how easy the whole process was. My order arrived promptly (via Royal Mail) and everything was well packaged with no breakages or anything like that. Delivery is a standard £2.99 and free on all orders £45.00 and over in the UK. There is a standard delivery charge of £7.99 for those in the EU and £9.99 to selected worldwide destinations (Save on Make Up Postal Charges) I’m really impressed with the quality of each item and I would definitely use Save on Make Up again.

Thanks so much to Save on Make Up for this opportunity!

Save on Make Up provided these items free of charge to me in return for a review. As usual, thoughts are my own and completely honest.
